I'm having writer's block, do you have any advice?

I find it increasingly more difficult to write. I'm unsure of my skills and find myself struggling with creativity. I'm not a writer professionally, but I do love to express my creativity through writing.

So can you give me any pointers as to how to get out of this rut?I'm having writer's block, do you have any advice?
I know exactly what you are going through...

The best thing to do is Brainstorm...

Just sit down with pen and paper, and start writing whatever comes to your mind. It doesn't matter what it is. It can be stupid, serious, silly, weird, random, whatever. The key is to let your mind free and let it flow.

Continue doing that... It works every time for me and I usually come up with a new idea.

Hope that helps!I'm having writer's block, do you have any advice?
Do some reading of your favorite authors and write down some of the paragraphs that strike you as creative. Glance at these from time to time until they generate ideas for you to emulate.

Also check out some books on writing from your library.
Write a story about someone having writer's block. Heehee. Find the humor in the situation.
Sometimes the spoken word comes easier than the written word...

try recording your thoughts as they come to you, and write them down later. It's worth a try!
