Well, do you follow your own advice? Or do you just say it because you know it's the right thing to do?Do you follow your own advice?
I say it because I know it's the right thing to do.
I almost never follow my own advice, nor anyone elses. I'm too stubborn. I just do things when they pop into my head, I don't think it over.Do you follow your own advice?
I critique poetry, finding flaws in structure and design. Yet, when mine are posted, i find that i have done the very same thing. Is this intentional? No, sometimes its hard to see your own faults until someone points them out to you. It is what true friends are for, people you can trust to tell you ';like it is';. However, ';All wisdom comes from God'; and therefore no matter what anyone says, it should line up with the Bible.
Matthew 7:2-4 (New American Standard Bible)
For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you.
Why do you look at the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye?
Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' and behold, the log is in your own eye?
I live my life by the wisdom of experience. I don't know any other way than to follow where I am led, no way of not doing what I say.
But I procrastinate, so I never advise people about time management.
I get distracted a million times a day, so I never offer advice about a busy mind -- my brain, like all of us, never shuts off.
I'm an insomniac, so I may advise someone about medicine I've taken.
Good question! t
Taking our own advice is one of the hardest things to do but I try and answer from past experiences and tell them how I've coped with the same feelings. I answer also because I know it's the right thing to do and the thing that *I* actually would do in that situation. I won't give someone false advice.
Well yes when i answer or tell a person advice i do it from my heart and not for the 2 points. If i tell someone to do this or try that it's because i have done it myself and it turned out good.If something really sucks then i tell them to leave it the hell alone' so yep i do toot my own horn and listen to what my heart and mind tells me 99 percent of the time.
Ah, actually sometimes I do. Other times I give out advice and its good advice but I'm never in that situation so I don't have to use my own advice or anyone else's on that topic but I only listen to myself, yeah i ask for advice and if its better than mine than I'll go use that person but I always use mine.
I trust my own advice -
better than I did before -
'course - I am now a lot older -
and (hopefully) a little wiser
than in my ';youth';.
If - I can share - some of my insights -
with others - and they share ';advice'; with me.
Then it would be fine - for all
who join and be the truth

well, i try to. but most of the time my answers come from my experiences and its often too late to take it. %26lt;3 but that's kind of how I make decisions now. I think of it as a question on Y!A and answer it. and i try and follow what I would say to someone else. you can tell I am on here way too much. haha.
I follow my advice, i don't sit here and lie to people just so they do the right thing i tell them what i think and what i would do, and i may come across as being a biotch but i'm really not, i just tell it how it is.
Most of the time. When I give advice to people, it's what I would do if I were in their situation. Sometimes my advice isn't usable in my situations, so I do the opposite.
Does that make me a hypocrite? Hmm...
=]
nope i never follow my own advice. i'll tell someone something is a mean horrible thing then i'll wind up doing it. it's okay though :)
btw; is that your puppyy???
it's adorable!!!!!
To the best of my ability. What, you expected me to pretend I'm perfect? That would insult your intelligence, wouldn't it? I have no intention of doing that.
I don't follow my own advice, God forbid. But for some people ridiculous is an improvement over reckless.
i try because the thing i hate most in the world is hypocrites and i understand no ones perfect but it pisses me off when i cant follow my own advice
I normally always follow my first instincts.
I always try to follow God's advice and spread it%26lt;3.
I just say it because it's the right thing to do. I don't follow my own advice.
I just go with my gut feeling, which is usually a bad thing.
HAHA! Nope!
But I can give good advice.
Hell no.
