Do you have any advice on how to keep calm when getting a tetanus and a booster shot i have to get them today?

First off, don't worry at all. I don't know when you've had your last shot, but now, they don't hurt. At all. You should think about something else, and at the doctor's maybe read a magazine. And when they're about to give you the shot just look away and relax your muscles. When your muscles are relaxed you won't feel a thing but it may feel a little weird if your muscles are tense. Good Luck!Do you have any advice on how to keep calm when getting a tetanus and a booster shot i have to get them today?
I too have a problem with needles, I find one way that helps is not to look at the needle at all, keep your head facing the other way, you should also try to relax your arm as much as possible that way its not as painful afterwards. I also try to regulate my breathing and remind yourself that it only takes a few minutes and then your done, good luckDo you have any advice on how to keep calm when getting a tetanus and a booster shot i have to get them today?
Try pinching your leg with your free arm or biting your lip. If your brain is already sensing pain, you won't be focusing on the shot, nor will it sting as badly.
everyone has to get them. It hurts for about 5 seconds. It will protect you from getting sick. That should be good enough.
