That can lead to a paradoxical situation. If you take his advice, then you can't actually take his advice, because he's a stranger and you would be taking his advice. If, on the other hand, you don't take his advice, then you are actually taking his advice, which again leads to the problem that you can't do that because it's contradictory.

well first off - YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE THAT WILL KNOW YOUR BABY'S CRIES, NEEDS, WANTS, AND ANYTHING ELSE. TELL EVERYONE ELSE TO SHUT UP!!! Because your mom, sisters, friends, or anyone else that tries to tell you how to raise your baby - will tell ya how, and get in your face as if they know best. We are strong women who are born with the instinct to know what our babies needs are. It is how we bond. You will even know better than the daddy :)
Now I dont have just 1... I'll give you 10 tricks
Second - gassy??
lay baby on his/her back, take her knees and pull them up to her chest- roll out and back down... she will start to pass the gas, and her tummy will feel better. They also like the excersize. Anytime my babes cried, and I knew they weren't hungry/sleepy/dirty/soiled I laid them on their back... pushed their knees up to their chest, rolled the knees outward from the body and back down- repeating as needed untill baby was happy.
thirdly - tight tight tight swaddles. they were couped up so tightly inside of you, and they still love the same tight swaddle feeling.
forthly- formula??- soy is better on their tummy's causing less spit up, less upset stomach, less gas, less stuffy noses... also easy to switch from milk based to soy based.
Fith - Spit up?? stinky?? in public and on your clothes?? carry a small baggy with some baking soda in it. Take a baby wipe and dip it in the baggy - rub on the spit up... and wooollaaa no more stinky stinky :)
sixth - diaper rash?? A%26amp;D is the best, if you are breast feeding you baby (male or female) can get thrush it can show up as a diaper rash and diaper rash cream will not work. It means your baby has yeast, and can be treated with some cream from the docs. His/her mouth might be white... might not be.
Seventh- constipation? could be the formula- soy is best... to get the first blockage out - put a glycerin suppository in the rectim - hold it in for about 2 minutes... and soon your baby will poop. do not give juice untill 6 months old, any sooner can cause food allergies. Put a little bit of Kayro syrup in each bottle, it will relieve any further constipation.
eighth - pacifiers are good for babies that need that extra sucking - most breast fed babies need that extra sucking after nursing. It doesn't mean they are still hungry, but it takes less time to breast feed than bottle feed, so the babe still wants to suck. don't let him/her use your breast as a pacifier.
ninth - bottle feeding? bottles with a slight tilt help with gas, Dr. Bedreax bottles suck
tenth - TAKE SOME TIME FOR YOURSELF AFTER THE BABY IS BORN, RELAX, REST, AND DON'T STRESS. TAKE PLENTY OF WARM BATHS - IT WILL HELP WITH HEMRHOIDS AND HEALING. HAVE FRIENDS AND FAMILY PROVIDE SOME MEALS FOR YOU. SLEEP WHEN BABY SLEEPS!

Take it as it comes and don't compare yourself to other Mom's! Each day gets better and better and you learn pretty quick what your baby will want and it builds on that, day by day. You'll be the best Mom you can and if you compare yourself to other Mom's you'll NEVER be the best.
I, myself, like to observe other Moms and if I feel they are a bad mother than I don't do what they do with my kids and if I think they are a good Mom I usually try to emulate what they do with their kids and come up with my own technique. Just remember that your babies need love, food, attention and discipline, ALL with consistency. If you can provide all that consistently, you'll have a healthy and happy baby.
When I had my first child I had a friend with a baby a similar age and she was always bragging about what her super baby could do and made me feel as if I was trying to play catch up.
Don't let anyone tell you what you should or shouldn't do. Be it about breastfeeding, weaning or potty training. It's not a competition and it's not a race. All babys progress at their own rate and only you are the best judge of when both you and your baby feel ready to take the next step.
Enjoy every moment with your little bundle of wonderful, because the time flies by too fast. Be particularly patient during those middle-of-the-night feedings, when you are exhausted and all you want to do is sleep, because that is precious bonding time with your baby that you will miss when it's gone. Best wishes to you.

Don't always hold your baby because then you will be stuck carrying them around when they are older, well me and all the other mothers i no that did that. One of the best pieces of advice I was ever told was to get advice from someone who is where you want to be in the area you are seeking advice.
EX. If you want marriage advice, find someone who has a marriage you admire and ask them for advice, not someone who has been divorced 5 times.
Everyone has advice and think they know how to solve everyone else's problems. Good advice comes from people who have proven success in the area you need help in. People can only teach you what they know. Make sure the person you are seeking advice from is where you want to be.

I was advised years ago to study the Bible. To use every aid to do so that I could obtain. Concordances, commentaries, lexicons, and to become familiar with history. To me there is nothing more eye opening.

If you are physically strong, and solid with it inside yourself, there is very little you cannot handle; very little that will throw you for a loop. For me, hearing that we should make ourselves physically strong made a lot of sense to me - and it still does.
Always treat others with the same respect you'd expect of them.
Trust nobody.

I recently had two draining setons placed and wanted to know about others' experiences with them. How long where they in place? After they were taken out, did you have any recurring infrections? Did the knots ever break? For women: how did you cope sexually? My heart goes out to you, I also suffered with that, and had the setons in for a year. And one did fall out. I went through 60 operations. Nothing helped, just one day I asked the surgeon to take them out and I went about 6 months where it still bleeds and hurts, but now more fistulas are coming out in other places. Flagyl, and prednisone... they put me on it all. Even went through chemo treatments.. it did not stop it... so I pray that yours gets better. My husband was very understanding in the love making department. If I wasn't in a lot of pain, we were intimate. It takes a very understanding mate....If it doesn't hurt... no reason not to love your husband/wife. Have you been through any Remacade infusions yet? I wish you all the best luck... just know that others are going through this too, some worse then others, some will say, been there done that.... others just diagnosed and scared..... we look at the positive.... we don't have cancer, or other diseases... we know what we have and are working on it.... and others understandTo any Crohn's patients: What advice can you give about draining setons?

Got any bottlerockets? If all you have access to is a pellet gun, you will not make a credible impact on cats as a nuisance. They hate loud noises, and if you can produce a noise with a decibel rating they find to be irksome, you will find that they avoid your domain in search of an easier target.
Otherwise, happy hunting...
I would suggest a Gamo, with a pellet velocity of 1000.FPS or faster I prefer .177 but .22 caliber will also work well.
With the Gamo you can mount a scope and shoot very accurate.
This should take care of your problem.
You can also use a live catch trap, to catch them so you euthanize at a closer range to insure a clean quick kill.
With the live trap I would bait it with bacon strips, cat food, sardines and tuna. About a tablespoon full at a time should be sufficient.
They do get out of hand quite fast at times,

Forget an air rifle its not going to give a humane kill at that range.
A true sportsman is only interested in the welfare of his/her quarry. One shot one kill.
You should'nt have a problem with a .17 HMR at that range.
There are no air rifles that will consistently kill cats at this range, even FAC rated ones, 30 odd ft/lbs just won't cut it. Even a .22 rimfire will not kill them consistently. 22mag as suggested, is the minimum, preferably centrefire.
An air rifle won't be able to kill it especially at 60 m. Depending on where you are going to hunt them go with a .22 Long Rifle (.22 LR), .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire(.22 WMR), or the .17 Hornady Magnum Rimfire(.17 HMR).
A .22 LR will be the cheapest. Rifles in .22 run about $100-$300 for factory hunting rifles. They can go into the thousands of dollars if you buy a target rifle. Ammo starts at 1$.00 for 50 rounds and can go to about $10.00 - $15.00 for 50 rounds. You can fire the .22 to about 100 yards and still be accurate if you practice enough. Recoil and noise are both low.
A .22 WMR packs the most punch out of all the calibers i said. Rifles in .22 WMR cost about the same as a .22 LR. The ammo is more expensive but is less expensive than the .17 HMR. .22 WMR can be fired out to 125 yards accurately again practice makes perfect.
The .17 HMR will be the most expensive for rifle and for ammo. The rifles run about $200- $400 for factory rifles. The ammo starts at $11.00 for 50 rounds..17 HMR has about the same range as the .22 WMR, but it fires a smaller bullet so the effectiveness of the rifle will be less than the .22 WMR or the .22 LR.
Overall, I would choose either the .22 LR or the .22 WMR because they fire bigger, heavier bullets at velocities from 1000 fps to 2200 fps. The .22 WMR would have a better one-shot, one-kill effectiveness, but the .22 LR is cheaper and has a wider variety in ammunition, as well as rifles.
For the rifle I would suggest either a semi-auto or a bolt action. The bolt action would be more accurate but it would take longer to get a second shot. If you want a Semi-auto go for a Ruger 10/#. # is the caliber you buy it in. An example is Ruger 10/22. If you go for a bolt action I suggest a Remington 547. That comes in .22 LR or .17 HMR. If you want a bolt action in .22 WMR, I would buy a Savage 93.
The decision is up to you. I hope this information helps.

If you want a Semi-auto go for a Ruger 10/#. # is the caliber you buy it in. An example is Ruger 10/22. If you go for a bolt action I suggest a Remington 547. That comes in .22 LR or .17 HMR. If you want a bolt action in .22 WMR, I would buy a Savage 93.

I got a degree in Biology and only needed one quarter of calculus; but I took 4 quarters (because I liked it). I know it sounds sick to like calculus but it was sort of cool. BTW, I took the calculus in HS, but had to drop it because it was hard. It was easier for me in college.
Good luck with biochem. You may want to take the AP chem in HS to prepare yourself for college, not necessarily to satisfy the requirements for college.

Anyways, I know you have probably heard this from everyone but to make new friends GET INVOLVED! I can't stress this enough! This will help you make friends with people of all different cliques, which will give you tons of friends! For classes, just relax, they are not as hard as they seem. I am not going to lie that it may be tough the first couple of weeks, but you get used to it. Do your work and do it well. There is nothing that a high school teacher likes worse than a slacker. Try your best and if you still aren't doing well, ask for help. Your teacher will probably think you are responsible and serious about school if you ask. Participate in class, don't be afraid. You will learn more and listen and focus more if you just participate. School will be much easier. Go to dances, go on dates, get in trouble!(but not too much! ;]) These are the years of your lives that its ok to mess up. Just make sure that you make wise decisions. I'm an Army veteran, but I've always admired female Marines for their strength. My only advice would be, when you go to bootcamp, don't give up. There will be screaming, and insanity, but they're actually there to help you. Don't take anything personally. Drill Sergeants are people to at the end of the day. They're not evil beings put on earth to torture you, although you will feel that way. Just remember that no other experience in the military (except maybe Iraq) is as intense or nerve wracking as bootcamp. So, just focus on making it through and ';DON'T QUIT';. Good luck.

And start spelling Marine with a capital 'M'.

That can lead to a paradoxical situation. If you take his advice, then you can't actually take his advice, because he's a stranger and you would be taking his advice. If, on the other hand, you don't take his advice, then you are actually taking his advice, which again leads to the problem that you can't do that because it's contradictory.

Because they seem to be doing well, they think they are living in heaven on earth, because they are blinded by the false power; that will end because all evil ends here on our planet in our universe and, of course the end and beginning at the end. God is clear, God said, ';you shall reap if you faint not'; %26gt; here on our planet in our universe, That is if you are a believer, because to receive the promises of God you need faith, and believe God is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him, and act on His word, which means do it; then you truly will be living in heaven on earth and be happy; believe me when I say there is also a hell on earth; some people get confused because they think that heaven and hell are for eternity only%26gt;not. Again you may be happy here or not it is a choice. False happiness is not happiness, because the people that are doing the evil have to plot and plan they do not even realize they are in turmoil, really happy people just take a day at a time trusting in and relying on and loving the Triune God, and giving everything to the Triune God; because He is the only one that is able to help, yet He does use people and there is also devine intervention by the Triune God; but the devil uses people also. Me I would rather have the help of the Triune God; which is life now and everlasting, Not the false help the devil gives which only leads to death now and everlasting. Remember faith works by love, and God is Love, one is getting excited so one shall stop by praying we all learn how to make right choices and trust and have faith in the Triune God. Ok, this will sound like a cliche, so try not to let it pass by you unheard. Try to live in the moment. I know, it's said so often, but seriously. I'm 26, one night I couldn't sleep, so I decided to think instead. Actually, that's almost every night for me : ) Anyways, I decided I was going to review every single memory I had, from birth to the present. It took me 4 hours, and I only got a few years into my life. It's amazing how little we remember. If we forget, then it's like those parts of our lives never happened. But here's what I'm trying to say: I realized that for a good part of my life I was extremely detached from my present (and for good reason actually, the present was often painful). But still, It's important to not spend years of your life living inside of your head, or living in fantasy worlds like video games and fiction books (even though they probably have a place). Just don't throw your years away by not even being in them. Your body can pass through years, but if your mind isn't there, if you're living in the future or past or some dreamworld, then you're not even living. The masks are HEPA masks.

Have any of you had black linens & napkins at your wedding reception? What do you think? Advice?
At first I wanted to have black linens (table cloths and napkins) with white plates and a tall, single flower, pink centrepiece with rose petals and shiny fake diamond-like things on the tables. The head table, guest book area and cake table will all be white with white lights.
Now I'm second guessing myself!

I can't top the above answers and/or links, but that sounds FABULOUS! I wish *I* would have gone with black. I had a black, white, and light pink wedding theme with white table cloths and linen.

Trust me, people aren't going to judge you over the table cloth colors, but they WILL notice how stunning this will look.

very slick, go for it. remember the plates won't be on the tables when guests arrive if you're having a sit down dinner, the plates will be brought out when dinner is served. so the tables will look more black in that case. even if you're having a buffet, the plates won't be on the tables, they'll be stacked by the buffet tables.

You can play down the black and still have it look classy...try doing a black underlay with the pink or white overlay. That should lighten things up and still give you the pallette you're looking for!

A lot of places (restaurants and halls) are going with darker colored napkins because of the ';fuzz'; that comes off white linens. It sticks to a gentleman's dress pants or a lady's dark colored dress and is pretty embarrassing.
Black and white weddings are very elegant. Go to Davidsbridal.com and creat your own wedding online. Look at dif dresses and things. Its your wedding you choose the colors. If someone don't like it they can leave. My cousin had a black and white wedding and it was georgous!

Got any bottlerockets? If all you have access to is a pellet gun, you will not make a credible impact on cats as a nuisance. They hate loud noises, and if you can produce a noise with a decibel rating they find to be irksome, you will find that they avoid your domain in search of an easier target.
Otherwise, happy hunting...
I would suggest a Gamo, with a pellet velocity of 1000.FPS or faster I prefer .177 but .22 caliber will also work well.
With the Gamo you can mount a scope and shoot very accurate.
This should take care of your problem.
You can also use a live catch trap, to catch them so you euthanize at a closer range to insure a clean quick kill.
With the live trap I would bait it with bacon strips, cat food, sardines and tuna. About a tablespoon full at a time should be sufficient.
They do get out of hand quite fast at times,

You probably can't kill even a house cat at 60 meters with an air rifle. Try instead a .22 Magnum or larger if it is a big cat.

Forget an air rifle its not going to give a humane kill at that range.
A true sportsman is only interested in the welfare of his/her quarry. One shot one kill.
You should'nt have a problem with a .17 HMR at that range.
There are no air rifles that will consistently kill cats at this range, even FAC rated ones, 30 odd ft/lbs just won't cut it. Even a .22 rimfire will not kill them consistently. 22mag as suggested, is the minimum, preferably centrefire.
An air rifle won't be able to kill it especially at 60 m. Depending on where you are going to hunt them go with a .22 Long Rifle (.22 LR), .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire(.22 WMR), or the .17 Hornady Magnum Rimfire(.17 HMR).
A .22 LR will be the cheapest. Rifles in .22 run about $100-$300 for factory hunting rifles. They can go into the thousands of dollars if you buy a target rifle. Ammo starts at 1$.00 for 50 rounds and can go to about $10.00 - $15.00 for 50 rounds. You can fire the .22 to about 100 yards and still be accurate if you practice enough. Recoil and noise are both low.
A .22 WMR packs the most punch out of all the calibers i said. Rifles in .22 WMR cost about the same as a .22 LR. The ammo is more expensive but is less expensive than the .17 HMR. .22 WMR can be fired out to 125 yards accurately again practice makes perfect.
The .17 HMR will be the most expensive for rifle and for ammo. The rifles run about $200- $400 for factory rifles. The ammo starts at $11.00 for 50 rounds..17 HMR has about the same range as the .22 WMR, but it fires a smaller bullet so the effectiveness of the rifle will be less than the .22 WMR or the .22 LR.
Overall, I would choose either the .22 LR or the .22 WMR because they fire bigger, heavier bullets at velocities from 1000 fps to 2200 fps. The .22 WMR would have a better one-shot, one-kill effectiveness, but the .22 LR is cheaper and has a wider variety in ammunition, as well as rifles.
For the rifle I would suggest either a semi-auto or a bolt action. The bolt action would be more accurate but it would take longer to get a second shot. If you want a Semi-auto go for a Ruger 10/#. # is the caliber you buy it in. An example is Ruger 10/22. If you go for a bolt action I suggest a Remington 547. That comes in .22 LR or .17 HMR. If you want a bolt action in .22 WMR, I would buy a Savage 93.

I'm teaching English to mentally disturbed teenagers and i wanted to work on a project with them on releasing a school newspaper... any suggestions on how to drive the project aare welcomed.Could you give me some advice on creating a school newspaper in English?
Great idea! Creativity is the limit here. Other wise follow the same rules you would for any school paper.
Define what kind of news paper it is going to be: To whom is it directed? What issues will it deal whit? What section should it have?, What are the goals or reasons that guide this project? etc.
Start small, it will make it easy for everyone to understand and get into it. Make it every two weeks, then you can move to a weekly, etc. No problem, it can grow and develop with time in every sense; length, pages, frequency, etc.
Mostly make it fun to do, and to read. Not necessary humorous, but entertaining and interesting, your aim is to involve as many people as you can; both as producers and as readers.
