Any advice on Pneumonia? anything you shouldn't do if you have or anything that will help recover from it?

Yes. Rest, eat healthy foods,stay hydrated, lots of water and juices.I probably don't need to state the obvious but no smoking.


But the most important thing is to finish all the antibiotic that the doctor ordered and use anything else he/she ordered as he/she directed.

Oh yeah, and wait on your mother and do everything she asks without question. Remember what she did for you when you were young and sick. If you don't remember I'm sure she'll remind you.

Lots of fluids, bed rest, and after she gets over it, make sure she gets the pneumonia shot, if she takes one (shot) every three years, she will not have a repeat of it. Making her chicken broth or beef broth, will also help. She is lucky to have a daughter who is so thoughtful.
Take a lot of fluids and a multivitamin supplement to built your immunity.Chicken soup also helps always.
