What advice would you give to someone that whats to become a female marine?

Stop shaving your pits and become as unattractive as possbile to all the other female recruits.What advice would you give to someone that whats to become a female marine?

I'm an Army veteran, but I've always admired female Marines for their strength. My only advice would be, when you go to bootcamp, don't give up. There will be screaming, and insanity, but they're actually there to help you. Don't take anything personally. Drill Sergeants are people to at the end of the day. They're not evil beings put on earth to torture you, although you will feel that way. Just remember that no other experience in the military (except maybe Iraq) is as intense or nerve wracking as bootcamp. So, just focus on making it through and ';DON'T QUIT';. Good luck.

And start spelling Marine with a capital 'M'.
if its what you want, then go for it. its your life, no one elses. its not easy, but it is a very rewarding thing to accomplish. its something you will never regret, and you will learn so much about yourself and gain an awful lot of confidence in everything you do. good for you.
if its something that you want to do then go for it but make sure you know all of your options before you do it. a lot of the time unless you are going to the marines for the title other branches can give your more for your skills. for instance i was going to join the marines but decided to go army because the marines couldnt guarentee my job (Military Police) they could only give me the field, they didnt have a nice bonus for me like the army did, i just found for me that the army was a better choice.. if its what you want to do though then do it. dont let anything hold you back. there have been other female marines so if they could pass the course then you can.
Why not consider the U.S. Coast Guard?





Every advantage and benefit of being in the armed forces, but great duty assignments..and you get to be involved with search and rescue and interdiction.
