What advice would you give upcoming Freshman to High School?

how you make new friends, classes, etcWhat advice would you give upcoming Freshman to High School?
Graduate from High School.

Do not have a baby.

Get a job鈥攁ny job鈥攗ntil you can move up or find another.

Get married and stay married. What advice would you give upcoming Freshman to High School?
STAY FOCUSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You will be faced with new challenges but it's sooooooooo important to STAY FOCUSED!!!! Remember why you are in school and it's to learn things that will prepare you for your future and not to participate in things that will lead you in the wrong direction. When your peers are doing things that you know are wrong, don't participate just to fit in. You will learn that it's better to stand up for what's right than to go down for something that's wrong. Don't worry about being in the crowd. Be yourself and if people can't accept who you are then that's their problem not yours. These are the best years of yourself. Make them enjoyable but STAY FOCUSED!!!!
GET THERE ... DO YOUR VERY BEST ACADEMICALLY....IT WILL MAKE THE FOLLOWING THREE YEARS A BREEZE OR AT LEAST MUCH EASIER.....YOU WILL DRAW YOUR OWN KIND TO YOU.....THERE ARE MANY OTHERS WHO DONT KNOW ALOT OF OTHER STUDENTS.... YOUR ROSTER WILL TELL YOU WHICH CLASSES YOU ARE IN....IT IS FUN.....BUT ONLY IF YOU STEER CLEAR OF TROUBLE AND PUT THE BEST EFFORT IN THE CLASS WORK.....YOU DO IT FOR YOURSELF.... DONT WORRY ABOUT BEING IN WITH THE IN CROWD.....BE YOUR OWN TRUE SELF...BEST OF LUCK TO YOU......GET A OR AT LEAST A B....FOR YOU
just be yourself
have fun, study, stay away from drugs%26amp; users,if you do party, keep it separate from school.

p.s. don't let anyone sell you elevator tickets!
Be yourself, don't bow down to peer pressure, stay off the drugs, booze, etc., ask questions of your teachers, (they really are there to help you!) Find something you like and do it, football, math club, AV club, spanish club, whatever, get involved.
Hey, just want to start off by saying congratulations! You are about to embark on the best years of your life! Anyways, I know you have probably heard this from everyone but to make new friends GET INVOLVED! I can't stress this enough! This will help you make friends with people of all different cliques, which will give you tons of friends! For classes, just relax, they are not as hard as they seem. I am not going to lie that it may be tough the first couple of weeks, but you get used to it. Do your work and do it well. There is nothing that a high school teacher likes worse than a slacker. Try your best and if you still aren't doing well, ask for help. Your teacher will probably think you are responsible and serious about school if you ask. Participate in class, don't be afraid. You will learn more and listen and focus more if you just participate. School will be much easier. Go to dances, go on dates, get in trouble!(but not too much! ;]) These are the years of your lives that its ok to mess up. Just make sure that you make wise decisions. Stay in school, don't do drugs, don't drink, and live your life. If you don't take risks now, you will regret it when you get older. Hope you have the time of your life and good luck! %26lt;3
be sure to find upperclassmen with similair interests as you so they can help you with your classes.
Stay in school.

Study hard.

Try to find things outside of school that interest you that you could use once you get a full time job.

If you start to learn about these things now then you will have a better advantage over other people when it comes time to applying for a job.
Okay, 4 tips...

1) DONT come up to high school acting like you did in 8th grade.

2)Your not tha top dog anymore, so dont act like it.

3)Don't try and get the back of the bus, it's not for you until your a Junior or Senior.

4)And dont try to act like a big shot, because whatever your trying to do will blow up in your face.
Check this out that first year, do all of your work! make sure that you keep your friends close and your enemies even closer, remember high school is where you make your mark.
Just don't act like you are so cool. Just be chill and friendly to people. Don't look eager also. Just relax and be nice to other people.
relax unless the seniors are about to plastic wrap ya to a tree in the quad. in that case run and yell for your mommy
Be yourself, try not to get involved in the cliques. I would recommend going to registration/orientation so you could get familiar with the school and where your classes will be. Sometimes the teachers are there and you could introduce yourself. Remember all freshman are feeling the same thing.

Good Luck. Study hard
Take your time, be yourself and just have fun!!!!! This is no joke, high school will pass by quickly so enjoy the time while you have it.
study hard
watch out for bullies and whose ever a bully then don't act like you know everything.
didn't you have friends in your middle school or junior high. If you just moved there people in your class would probably show you around if your a new kid or something you will meet a friend.
