Is it hard to make an A in AP US? How long did you spend studying for the class each night?Has anybody ever had AP US History? Do you have any advice? What was it like for you?
It is not a hard class if you don't procrastinate. Read the chapters section by section and review every night for at least half an hour, that way the night before the test you wont have to study so much. If you know the material well you will find it is easy to get an A. If you are using the the book American Pageant (the most common AP US history book) you can find a couple websites on line with good notes about each chapter.Has anybody ever had AP US History? I don't want to sound bitter, but how does this relate to Psychology? This is the ';psychology section';.
You want the history section, or the High school education section.
like any college course. there's a lot of work and a lto of reading. but ti really depends on your teacher.
I had a teacher who was very focused on history and understanding. others jsut want the book read and the packets/other homework turned in.
some prepare for the test all year and make you practice a lot of DBQs (god I hated even typing that acronym! DBQs very bad)
my teacher was less worried about the test and more about our understanding.
just relax and try you're best. u'll be fine
