Christian friends, what can you share as a spiritual advice, that you've learned in your walk with the Lord?

Anything that is helpful for fellow believers in their walk, that's uplifting ONLY and what scripture supports it?

no need for answers from unbelievers that want to add negative remarks looking for positive help?Christian friends, what can you share as a spiritual advice, that you've learned in your walk with the Lord?
The most important thing I've learned is to stop looking at my outside circumstances and realize that God is in control and I can trust him with everything about my life.

When I go to him in prayer, I get answers and the strength to carry on.Christian friends, what can you share as a spiritual advice, that you've learned in your walk with the Lord?
Philipians 4:4-9

4Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice. (despite whatever you're going through)

5Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

9Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
The 10 commandments are spoken of in the negative...like all of God's laws. Let me explain...

Temperature...there is absolute 0. There is no limit on how hot something can get.

Speed. Complete stop. But no limit on how fast something can go.

and you can continue with all of God's physical laws.

Same with his spiritual laws. Thou shalt not. Again...spoken in the negative...because that is the minimum. at least don't kill, or steal or commit adultery. But there is no limit to the love. No cap on the positive.
That true love is about caring about the other person and it is a choice, not only just a feeling, and that a loving relationship looks like submission towards eachother and being humble and servant-like and always thinking for the other. and then you end up still being full because you are getting the same in return
Well my Pastor preached that believing in ones heart is used interchangeably with being spiritual. And He read a number of verses.

And so I am more understanding that building our faith is growing spiritually. Believing in our heart Gods Truth.

Pastor preached this right to me a number of times last Sunday. So I could tell the Lord wants me to grow in faith. But that is heart faith. In our inner chest area.

And first we do hear things in our mind, but it has to get into our spirit (or into our heart). That speaking from our heart Gods Word, while trusting God is growing in faith.

http://www.riveroflifefellowship.org Last Sunday's 11:00 message.
Look to God and never to man.

Isaiah 45:22, ';Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else.';

Micah 7:7, ';Therefore I will look unto the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me.';
I've learned that Jesus and God the Father and the Holy Spirit are always with us. The more we talk to them the closer the relationship becomes. The more your heart can feel in feedback from Him. And when you slip, and fall from grace, Our Father is waiting for us to come home so He can forgive us, and counsel us through our heart and conscious Always remember to count your Blessings, because I am sure there are many that you don't even know about, and I bet those are real doozies!

God Bless!
That if one doesn't keep one's answers up to the level of one's questions, the enemy will snag you. In other words, Love God with your whole mind.

St Francis de Sales even said 'Learning is the 8th Sacrament'.
God has taught me many things in my walk, But if there is one thing he has made crystal clear, It's that sin has costly consequences and God will discipline his children harshly when they willingly consistently disobey him . God bless.

Proverbs 3:11-12 (New King James Version)

11 My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD,

Nor detest His correction;

12 For whom the LORD loves He corrects,

Just as a father the son in whom he delights.
If you read the gospels you will learn the correct path to peace and salvation. Although nobody is telling you to follow it to the letter, use it as a guide for your life.
Pray that the Holy Spirit keeps you in the faith that He has given you. This is done through the proper use of the Word and Sacraments.
Jesus sacrificed nearly a weekend for your sins.

.
To be humble before God. To ask him to show you your sin and to help you overcome it.
No matter what you do or how you may have screwed up, God will always be waiting to bring you back.
The Word-of-God is true.

I've learned it as I obey it, - and more-so as I dis-obey it.

What man can fail at alone, - he can succeed with Him.
Evolutionists are dumb and won't accept the gift that is Jesus Christ.
keep praying.....
