Well maybe she didn't recognize you when you requested her.
And it could mean anything. Don't get your head gassed though, maybe she was just being polite.
buy her a dildo. she'll get the point.
Listen, darling:
A lot of people will only like you if you fit the mold of someone who has the appearance of a person who they consider popular. In your case, since you've lost weight and are in all probability prettier than you used to be, she would have warmed to you.
It may seem like it is a sh*tty way to be, but here's what you have to understand: It isn't about you - it's about how your company will reflect on THEM. Which just means that they aren't really so certain about their own 'cool' status. These people (and it's something we all do to an extent) put a lot of value on appearances. You can have them as buddies, but it's probably not a good idea to have them as 'friends', as they would be prone to bail on you in your times of need - not nastily, though, they just want to protect their own image, which is what most of their friendships are based on.
Like i said - have her as a buddy if you want to, and climb the cool ladder yourself, but be wary about considering her a true friend.
There you go sweetness.
